We are a growing public insurance adjusting firm specializing in assisting individuals and contractors in navigating the complexities of insurance claims. As a public insurance adjuster, we work diligently to ensure that our clients receive fair and just settlements for their insurance claims. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Public Insurance Adjuster to join our team as a 1099 employee.

Position Overview:

As a Public Insurance Adjuster, you will be responsible for managing and negotiating settlements on behalf of our clients. You will play a crucial role in analyzing insurance policies, assessing damages, and advocating for our clients to maximize their claim settlements. This position requires excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, as well as a strong understanding of insurance policies and claim processes.

Responsibilities:

- Review insurance policies, claim documents, and other relevant materials to gain a comprehensive understanding of the claim.

- Collaborate with clients and gather necessary information to support the claim process

- Prepare detailed claim reports outlining the damages, loss, and recommended settlement amounts.

- Liaise with insurance companies, adjusters, and other relevant parties to negotiate and advocate for fair and equitable settlements.

- Follow management's guidance on how to handle claims, including when to negotiate settlements and when to utilize alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods.

- Stay updated on industry regulations, policy changes, and emerging trends to ensure compliance and effectively represent clients' interests.

- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients throughout the claim process.

- Maintain accurate records of all claim-related activities, correspondence, and negotiations using our software.

- Assist in the resolution of any disputes or disagreements that may arise during the claims process.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Public Insurance Adjuster.

- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage terms, and claim procedures.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple claims simultaneously.

- Proficient in using computer software and technology for documentation and communication purposes.

- Valid insurance adjuster 0320 license or willingness to obtain a beginner 0620 license to work as an apprentice under a  licensed 0320 public adjuster..

Compensation:

Compensation for this position is comission-based, with a structure that rewards successful claim settlements, ensuring a direct correlation between your expertise and the outcomes achieved for our clients.
